These pieces were created for an expressive typography book, which consisted of a mixture of body copy and typographic elements. The project was completed using mixed media. Some pieces were photographed and further edited in Photoshop while some were created completely in a digital environment. One of the the more experimental approaches taken involved the “PLAY” piece, which consists of individually photographed lengths of gamecube controller cord, that was placed in Photoshop and stitched together. Another approach involved spelling out the word “Spicy” with Sriracha sauce and bringing it into a digital environment to be edited and placed on a backdrop.
