SHEL was a poetry book created to highlight some of Shel Silverstein’s most popular works. The assignment’s purpose was to attempt multiple typographic styles, including approaches like radial and axial typography. Each page of the book contains a different typographic style that visually connects to the poems. Creating this book was an awesome learning experience that taught us the importance of typography in any written component, and how typeface, placement and colour can really differentiate your work from that of other’s.
